#473- 23.8' x 8.4'  Rock Salt Deep Vee

Lineage:

This and an earlier 23' design are the small end of our RockSalt line of deep V (20-24 degree) hulls.   These hulls range to 34', and ironically the 23 and 24 footers, though completed designs, have never been built.  In each case, after the design was completed, the customers elected to build larger versions- in one case a 34', the first build of the RockSalt family, and in another case a 28'.  These spiffy deep V's are a bit of work to build, so the sweet spot of money and effort seems to be in the slightly larger versions.

Unlike our more traditional modified V hulls, these hulls do not have a skeg, but they do have one or two lifting strakes per side.

The NC cutting kit is available with or without a fuel tank, helm console and leaning post, and of course custom design kits with any degree of changes are available.
