#516- Rock Salt 34' x 10.75'

Lineage:

This design kit started from our Rock Salt 34' center console and was also built by The Welded Boat Co.  Designed for private guest transport and utility work, as well as the occasional sightseeing and fishing foray in the gulf, it features a good sized walk-around house.  The beam is widened to accommodate the house, and the aft deadrise is reduced to 20 degrees in order to manage the additional beam as well as provide additional roll stiffness.

As with some of our other Rock Salt hulls, the engine bracket is integral to the hull, but in this case the bottom is not carried aft.  This is one of the design details that we often massage in order to improve efficiency and manage boat trim.  In this sort of treatment the void area may be ventilated to feed any resultant suction.
